Obituary for Robert J. Talbot

Robert J. Talbot, age 86, of Stratford, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 26, 2015 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the devoted husband of the late Elaine (Holden) Talbot. Mr. Talbot was born in Fall River, MA, on September 26, 1929, son of the late Albert and Alice Talbot. He was an employee of Butkin Precision Engineering for many years until his retirement. Mr. Talbot enjoyed hunting trips with his sons. He is the beloved father of Robert Talbot, Jr., and his wife Paula of Oxford, John Talbot and his wife Fran of Seymour, William Talbot and his wife Cheryl of Meriden, Elaine (Talbot) Arnone and her husband John of Bethany, and Mary Ellen (Talbot) Kuibeda of Seymour, brother of Joseph Talbot, Margaret Kubica and Juliette Geary. Mr. Talbot is the loving grandfather of Amy, Tanya, Melissa, Lisa, Brian, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Wayne, Johnny, Chantal and Jimmy, and great grandfather of Callie Ethan Jordan, Maurece, Pierce, Josie,Archer and Victoria. He was predeceased by a son, Thomas Talbot, and a granddaughter, Angela. 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday,in St. Mary Church, 212 Elizabeth St., Derby at 10 a.m. Inurnment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia. Friends may leave condolences at www.adzimafh.com.
