Obituary for Vittorio Salotto

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Vittorio Salotto, 81, long time Wickliffe resident passed away October 18, 2015 while vacationing in the Mediterranean. Vittorio was born in Campobasso, Italy and came to make his life in America in 1961. He was a talented cement mason (Vic Salotto Cement and Masonry) by trade and then moved to open Vittorio''s Buon Appetito Italian Restaurant with his beloved late wife Angela Lombardo Salotto in 1994. He is survived by his daughters, Maria Salotto and Lisa Salotto Bush (Bob Bush); as well as two precious grandchildren, Angelina Ruth Salotto and Vittorio Richard Salotto. He is also survived by his dearest companion Suzanne Spear; his cherished great-nephew Pasquale Fusco; and many treasured nieces and nephews. Still in Italy he is survived by his brother Antonio Salotto (Rosa) and sister Ida Salotto (Geno). He was preceded in death by sister Lisa Salotto, Dominic Salotto, and Michael Salotto. He was an active member of the Wickliffe Italian American Club and Club Molisani where he never ceased to dazzle the audience with his Bocce Game. He taught us all the importance of family and hard work. He truly succeeded in living the "Promised American Dream". He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
