Melissa A. Morrison (nee Miller)
Melissa Morrison, 47, passed away October 22, 2015 after a long courageous battle with Juvenile Diabetes and Ovarian Cancer.
She was a 1986 graduate of Mogadore High School and was employed by Progressive Insurance and Taylor Communications.
Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Robert Miller, Sr. She is survived by her loving husband, Greg; mother, Loraine Miller; sister, Michelle Miller (Mike Rash); brother, Robert (Wendy) Miller; many nieces, nephews, great nephew, loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at Noon on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319 (SR619) with Pastor Randy Vandermark officiating. Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in Melissa''s name to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Northeast Ohio Chapter, 6100 Rockside Woods Blvd., STE 445, Independence, Ohio 44131.
