Obituary for Barbara Jenkins Fisher

Barbara Jenkins Fisher age 91, a longtime resident of Seymour entered into eternal rest Oct. 6, 2015. She was born in Derby on August 9, 1924 the daughter of Thomas J. Jenkins & Louise Wedin Jenkins. A graduate of Ansonia High School, class of 1942, Barbara retired from Kerite Co. of Seymour where she worked for many years. She is survived by her son John M. Fisher & his wife Ann Marie of North Branford CT, Daughter Christine Fisher Lamoureux of Frisco TX, 5 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her sister Hilda Jenkins Burtaccio. Friends may call at The Immanuel Lutheran Church, 25 Great Hill Rd. Oxford CT (06478) from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 16th. Memorial services will begin at church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or to the charity of one’s choice.
