Cilla Louise (Jones) Alford, 86, passed away September 29, 2015.
She was born and raised in South Carolina where she attended school. After school she met and fell in love with the love of her life Me. Pravis Alford, Sr. whom she married. To this union eleven children were born, five have survived.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Mrs. Vivian Watson; four sons, Pravis (Starlet) Alford, William, Larry, and Terry all of Akron; one sister, Queen E. Cole of Akron; and Lizzie M. Jones of Aron; very special and dedicated care giver, Brenda Ray; twenty four grandchildren; fifty seven great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Homegoing service will be held Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at 1 p.m. at Stewart and Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, OH 44307, Pastor Ronnie Stevens officiating. Interment Mt. Peace Cemetery. Friends may visit at the chapel from 12 p.m. until time of service. Procession will form at 198 Crosby St. and 2525 Christensen Ave. and condolences may be sent to 198 Crosby St., Akron, Ohio 44302.
