Obituary for Mildred J Godsey
At 12:47 a.m. on Sept. 17, 2015 Mildred J. Godsey, age 90, had the glory revealed to her. Services will be Tuesday at 11:30 a.m. at the Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville. Family and friends may call from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland. She was born Sept. 23, 1924 in Shelby. Mildred retired from Bailey Meter in Wickliffe after many years of Service. She was a member of Bible Community Church in Mentor and was a Sunday School teacher and a Vacation Bible School teacher, and she enjoyed travelling. Survivors include her sons, James Godsey, Ronald Godsey; daughter, Suzanne (Terry) Philips; grandchildren, Renee (Terry) Steen, Michelle Godsey; great grandchildren Terry and Cheyenne; and three great great grandchildren; sister Joanne Goins. She was preceded in death by her husband James E. Godsey; grandson Ronald Godsey; and two brothers and three sisters. Contributions may be made to Bible Community Church or Mentor Christian
