Obituary for Maryellen Marinelli

MARYELLEN R. (FEJER) MARINELLI
 

AUSTINTOWN - Maryellen R. (Fejer) Marinelli, 68, died on Sept. 2, 2015, from natural causes.

She was born on Feb. 11, 1947, in Cleveland, and married Nick Marinelli on Oct. 2, 1971. During their married life they lived in Ashland, Sandusky, Stow, and most recently, Austintown.

Maryellen was a preschool teacher and a homemaker.

Throughout her lifetime, she had become not only the greatest wife, mom, and grandmother, but one of the most outgoing and caring individuals this world could ever imagine.

Other than her husband, survivors include her children, Jeffrey James Marinelli of Canfield, Bradley Thomas Marinelli of Boardman, and Steven Paul Marinelli of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Roen, Gianna, and Holli Marinelli; her sister, Dianne Basile of Macedonia; and her dogs, Jada and Maddie.

Other than her parents, Maryellen was preceded in death by one sister, Elaine Korenko.

She enjoyed taking care of her family and friends, playing with her grandkids, relaxing by the pool, and the occasional pit-stop at the penny slot machines.

Visitation will be held at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave., Austintown, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 9, at the funeral home, followed by a procession to Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Pastor Jack Acri will celebrate Maryellen’s life.
