Obituary for Catherine Stepashe Moroz Blennerhassett
Catherine "Kitty" Blennerhassett, age 86, of Patton Avenue, entered into rest on Friday, July 20, 2001, at the Griffin Hospital, Derby She was the beloved widow of Paul Blennerhassett, and Jake Moroz. Catherine was born February 5, 1915 in Perth Amboy, N.J., daughter of the late Stanley and Mary Stepashe. She was a Seymour resident for 45 years, formerly of Ansonia. Kitty was a retired candy assembly line worker for Peter Paul Cadbury, Naugatuck, where she worked for more than 30 years, retiring in 1980. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and cake decorating. She leaves her loving family including: one sister, Ann McGowan of Seymour, two nieces, Sandra Nagel and Janice Minerly both of Seymour, and two nephews, Terrence Tabaka of Bethany and John Tabaka of Nevada; two half brothers, Walter and Taras Tabaka predeceased her. Funeral seervices will be held Monday, July 23, 2001 at 8 p.m. in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 West Church Street, Seymour. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
