Obituary for Betty L Brown

                                                                                                                                                                         Services for Betty Lou (Jenkins) Brown, 87, of Willoughby, will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2015, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home,  Willoughby. The Reverend Robert Mieden of First Baptist Church of Willowick will officiate at the service. Mrs. Brown passed away Friday, Aug. 14, 2015, at Golden Living Center – Western Reserve in Kirtland. Born Oct. 9, 1927, in Oak Hill, she was a longtime Willoughby resident. She was a member of Bible Baptist Temple in Euclid.Mrs. Brown was employed in the shipping and receiving department at the former Ohio Rubber Company in Willoughby. Mrs. Brown was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and dear friend to many. Survivors are her daughters, Patricia Di Loreto of Highland Heights and Diane (Fred) Nelson of Mentor-on-the-Lake; grandchildren, Fred and Michael Nelson and Melanie (Robert) Tomsik; and great-grandchildren, Michael, Jessica and Katlyn Nelson, Mary O''Connell, Aubrey and Evelyn Tomsik. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; and son, Denny, both in 1975. Her parents, Hugh and Lucretia (Denny) Jenkins; maternal grandparents, who raised her; and son-in-law, Anthony Di Loreto, are also deceased. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
