Obituary for Ty Joseph Zammit
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2015 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Ty Joseph Zammit, 38, who passed away on August 10, 2015.
Reverend Bryce Sibley, Pastor of Our Lady of Wisdom Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass .
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Ty, a resident of Rayne , was the son of Susan Fisher and Joseph Emile Zammit, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Courtney Zammit; daughters, Mallory, Morgan, Mia and Meredith Zammit; parents, Susan Fisher and Joseph Emile Zammit, Jr.; maternal grandfather, David Fisher, Sr.; paternal grandfather, Joseph Emile Zammit, Sr.; sisters, JoAllison Z. Rodriguez, Nicole Z. Fuselier, Kori Z. Schexnayder, Megan Z. Guillory, Kaitlyn Petitjean, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley Rhodes Fisher and paternal grandmother, Mary Alice Hudson Zammit.
Ty was the owner of Hub City Construction. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Ty adored his four daughters, family and friends.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 2:00PM until 9:00PM. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Thursday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue Friday from 8:00AM until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Potier, Willard Barnhill, Corey Guidry, Chander Staples, Harrison Fisher and Nicholas Fisher. Honorary Pallbearers will be Joe Henry Rodriguez, John Schxnayder, Sr. and Kurt Fuselier .
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been set up at Lafayette Schools Federal Credit Union for his four daughters.
