Obituary for Karole D Foster-Ford

karolefosterford75Karole Neal Foster-Ford made her transition from this earth on Thursday, July 30, 2015. surrounded by her loving family.  Born November 10, 1942 with twin sister Karen she lived in Akron, Ohio all of her life.  Karole retired from Akron Summit County Public Library Maple Valley Branch after 30 years of service Where the Children Feared Her!

She was a member and good servant of Prince of Peace Baptist Church.  She served on many committees, a Trustee Board Member, she was honored as mother of the year in 2011 and lastly she was determined to join the church choir which she made happen.  Karole was Chaplain of the South High School Alumni 1910-1980 Committee, Past President of the Emerald Civic Club being a member for over 20 years.  She was also a member of the “Friendly Six” a group of six friends who remained friends from grammar school thru high school until present:  Yvonne Mitchell, Janice Strode, Karen Neal, LaBarbara Watkins, Georgia Carter and Goldie Murphy (deceased).

Karole was preceded in death by son Richard A. Foster, Jr., parents Clifford and Jessie Neal, brothers Herbert E. Neal, Sr., and Russel C. Neal, Sr.  Leaving to celebrate a life well lived are sons Derek, Darren and Bryan Foster all of Akron, Ohio.  God daughter Ava Woods of Columbus, Ohio;  Sisters, twin and caregiver Karen Neal, Linda Boyd, Dolly Neal, Ellen Neal, Evelyn Neal Miller and sister-in-law Carolyn Neal; 19 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Special friends Sandra Sykes, Sondra Sheppard, and Edith Golson.  Adopted daughters Golda Tebcherani, Maggie Fain, Laricia Brunson and Kyren Luckett.  Special cousins Barbara Williams and Carmen Jones of Detroit, Michigan and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends
