Obituary for Wilfred R Mager

CANFIELD - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Michael Church for Wilfred Mager, 87, who left this world to be with the Lord on Aug. 1, 2015.

“Will” was born May 15, 1928, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Mary and Joseph Mager.

He served in the U.S. Army and retired from General Motors, Lordstown.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 60 years, the former Helen Hribar; his children, Atty. Kevin of Canfield and Dr. Darlene (Dr. Dean Ball) of Boardman; and a grandson, Dylan Ball, who was the pride and joy of his later years. Will is also survived by three sisters, Gertrude Hlebak of Phoenix, Barbara Feskonich of Brunswick, and Delores Mager of Phoenix; and numerous nieces and nephews who he loved very much.

Will was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and five brothers.

Family and friends may call Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Boardman-Canfield Chapel.
