Obituary for David J Cerny

MCDONALD - Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for David J. Cerny, 70, who passed away Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

David was born April 13, 1945, in Youngstown, a son of the late Aldrich and Rita (Fergus) Cerny.

David was a 1964 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. He was a truck driver for Tamarkin Company for 31 years. He was also a member of the American Legion Post No. 235 in Girard. David loved his dog, Diva. His greatest love though, was for his family and spending time with them.

David leaves his two sons, Dean (Cynthia) Cerny of Girard and James Cerny of Poland; four grandchildren, Trystan, Jesse, Talan, and Hunter; his sister, Rita (Tom) Schrode of New Middletown; and his former wife and friend, Barbara Cerny.

Family and friends may pay their respects Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
