BOARDMAN - Nada Marks, 93, passed away Friday evening, July 17, 2015, in the emergency room at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Nada was born March 6, 1922, in Franklin, Pa., a daughter of the late Mary Butkovich, and was a graduate of Chaney High School and of Youngstown College.

She was a homemaker, and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Her husband, Peter M. Marks, whom she married in 1941, passed away in 1987.

Nada leaves her daughter, Valorie (Thomas) Zurawick of Canfield; a son, Peter M. Marks Jr. of Kent; a grandson, Paul (Letitia) Zurawick, and great-grandsons, Steven and Alexander Zurawick, all of Granville; a granddaughter, Laurel (Michael) Pecoraro, and a great-granddaughter, Amelia, each of Broadview Heights; and two sisters, Greta (William) Clark and Olga Prsir, both of Youngstown.

Besides her husband and parents, a sister, Emma Prsir, is deceased.

Per Nada’s request, there are no calling hours. Private committal services will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
