YOUNGSTOWN - Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 16, at 9:30 a.m., at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home Inc., and at 10 a.m. at St. Christine Church, for Dorothy (Chismar) Stolar, 90, who passed away on Friday.

Dorothy was born Sept. 30, 1924, in Youngstown, daughter of William and Mary (Maurer) Chismar.

She was a graduate of The Rayen School and worked as a waitress for Mural Room and House of Valley. She was a member of St. Christine Church for more than 60 years and belonged to the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild and worked the craft booths for the festivals for more than 20 years. Dorothy enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.

Surviving are a son, Thomas (Joann) Stolar of Boardman; a daughter, JoAnn Stolar of Boardman; six brothers, Anthony (Tony) Chismar of Boardman, William (Mariann) Chismar of Austintown, Joseph Chismar of Boardman, Michael Chismar of Youngstown, John (Betty) Chismar of Boardman and Edward (Janie) Chismar of Poland; a grandchild, Kelli Stolar; great-grandchild Tyler Stolar; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andrew Stolar, whom she married June 1, 1946; and a sister, Mary Pauline Krall.

Friends will be received Monday, June 15, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home Inc., Youngstown.
