Obituary for Juliet V. Baker

                                                                                                                                                                     Juliet Virginia Baker, 89, recently of Media, PA, passed away on June 13, 2015. Born and raised in Brattleboro Vermont, she was a graduate of Brattleboro Union High School''s Class of 1943. She lived in Boston, and Chicago but was a longtime resident of Mentor. She was a parishioner of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Mentor and was an active member of the Western Reserve Chapter of the Christ Child Society. Juliet''s family was very important to her. She enjoyed getting everyone together for the holidays and spending as much time together as possible. She also had a love for animals. She volunteered at the Lake County Humane Society and was a loving pet parent to many kitties. Juliet was a talented artist and created beautiful pieces in stained glass, drawings, copper enameling, crochet, ceramics and flowers. She loved collecting Early American antiques. Juliet was proud of the stained glass business that she and her husband created and enjoyed showing their creations at local craft shows. She is survived by her son, Robert Jr. (Joan) of Cleveland; her daughter, Cindy Baker (Ernie Ricci) of West Chester, Pa.; her sister, Florine of Ft. Belvoir, VA; and many nieces, nephews and cousins in New England. Juliet was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert G. Baker, Sr.; and her siblings, Angelo, Tony, John, Bea and Anne. A celebration of Juliet''s life will be held in Mentor at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, Mentor Ohio 44060 (440 255 3404). Funeral services will be held Monday, June 22, 2015 11 a.m. Family will receive friends 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens.
