CANFIELD – Funeral services, officiated by Dr. Michael Grantz for Mrs. Felicia A. Beatty, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Boardman-Canfield Chapel. Felicia died Tuesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

She was born July 6, 1964, at Andrews Air Force Base, a daughter of Felix and Betty Uhran Herubin, and moved to this area as a child.

Felicia was a 1982 graduate of Poland Seminary High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Youngstown State University. She started her career at The Dollar Savings and Trust Company in Youngstown and worked for various financial institutions.

She was an avid bowler, golfer, and hunter and played volleyball, soccer, and softball as a young adult. She also ran 10Ks in the Peace Race.

Felicia married Duane Beatty on Sept. 10, 1994.

Besides her loving husband, Duane, she leaves her mother, Betty Herubin of Poland; stepson Mark Beatty of Chicago; two sisters, Wendy (Scott) Hill of Rocky Mount, N.C., and Tobie (John) Trell of St. Augustine, Fla.; a brother, Tim Herubin of St. Augustine; sister-in-law Niada (Richard) Stoneburner of Creston; brother-in-law Bruce (Anne) Beatty of Missouri City, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and her two cats, Gizmo and Rambo.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Felix Herubin.
Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions maybe made in Felicia’s memory to the Hospice House.
