Obituary for Ronald H Albright

YOUNGSTOWN - Ronald H. “Pops” Albright Sr., 73, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Ronald was born on May 28, 1942, in Youngstown, to parents Henry H. and Agnes (Gustafson) Albright.

Ronald married Nancy L. Carson on Aug. 23, 1969, and together they shared 39 years of marriage, until her passing on Jan. 27, 2008.

Ronald was a truck driver for R.L. Lipton, retiring in 2000. Ron was a former member of the Grace Lutheran Church, and Salem Eagles Arie No. 316. He was an avid sports fan of the Cleveland Browns. His favorite pastime was time spent with family and friends.

Survivors include his sons, Ronald (Teresa) Jr. of Canfield and Gino (fianceé Megan McCallister) of Youngstown; and grandchildren Ronald H. III, Jared D., and a soon-to-be-born grandson, Decklyn.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Rubye D.; his wife; and a brother.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 5, 2015, at Green Haven Memorial Gardens, Canfield, from 2 to 2:30 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m.

The family has entrusted the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, with the arrangements.
