Myrtle A. Dodd

age 84, passed away on Dec. 30, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lebanon, Va. on July 12, 1930 to the late George and Sarah Salyer. She was the widow of the late Wilber Dodd. Myrtle was a strong, independent, willful, loving and kind person. She loved working in her yard, planting flowers and traveling. She is survived by her daughter, Thelma Flounders; her grandchildren Jean (Richard) Bird and Joel Flounders; her great-grandchildren, Tymothy, Brittany and Michael. A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015 at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
