Obituary for Phyllis J Tichenor
Bernard "Bud" F. Ferdinando, 84, formerly of Willowick and more recently a resident of Emeritus at Newell Creek, passed away May 30, 2015.
He was born in DuBois, Pa., on Aug. 4, 1930.
He was a proud and loving father, grandfather, and brother who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He was an avid outdoorsman especially enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bud spent many afternoons tending his most prized possession, his tomato garden. He relished spending time with his wonderful grandchildren.
Bud proudly retired from Fisher Body and in his retirement he savored going on gambling trips with his wife and close friends.
Bernard is survived by his sons, Bernard Jr. (Denise), Bradley (Theresa); his grandchildren, Brianna, Brandon, Christopher and Lauren; his sisters, Gloria Tecca and Shirley O''Neill.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Claire Ferdinando; his sister, Janie Newman; and parents, Bernard and Bessie Ferdinando.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene, 32114 Vine St, Willowick.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Monreal Funeral Home
