Obituary for Pamela Ann Dripchak

Pamela Ann Dripchak, age 62, of Seymour, entered into rest after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Birmingham Health Center in Derby. Pamela was born in Derby on April 26, 1953, loving daughter of Stephen and Helen (Pezonka) Dripchak, and she lived in the valley all of her life.She attended St. Michael’s School in Derby and was a graduate of Derby High School, Class of 1971. She also held a degree in early childhood education.She worked in early childhood development at the Noah’s Ark Learning Center in Derby for many years, and previously worked at New Haven Savings Bank in Seymour. Pamela was a member of the Polish Falcons and a communicant of the Good Shepherd Parish in Seymour.Pamela will be remembered as an avid walker and would never let the weather be a factor in her routine. She loved being a hostess of many family parties, holidays, and gatherings over the years.She is the beloved mother of David John Dulka, Jr. and his wife Lisa and Heather Dawn Dulka and her husband John Shea II. She leaves five cherished grandchildren, Tyler, Daphne, and Connor Shea, Karlie Gottschalk, and Austin Dulka, two brothers, David Dripchak and his wife Susan and Stephen Dripchak and his wife Kim, and several nieces and nephews.Friends may greet the family at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth Street on Tuesday from 3 to 7 PM. Her procession will leave the funeral home on Wednesday at 10:30 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at Good Shepherd Church in Seymour.
