Marie Wilson Obituary | Condolences Diane Marie Wilson Obituary Diane Marie Wilson STOW -- Diane Marie Wilson, 61, went into the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 17th, 2015. Born in Waynesburg, Pa., she was preceded in death by parents, Edward and Jean Palone who greeted her in Heaven. She is survived by her beloved husband of 12 years, Joseph; son, Luke France of Cuyahoga Falls; Luke''s father, Ron France; step-sons, Lucas (Suzanne) Wilson, Ben (Erica) Wilson; sisters and brothers, Donna (Terry) of Westfield Twp., James (Joy) of Massillon, Edward of Hawaii, Deborah (Michael) of Stow, Susan (Brian) of Texas, Robert of Colorado; six grandchildren; and 14 nieces and nephews. Diane was the eldest of seven children, who began working part time after school in a radiologist''s office. She learned very quickly and was able to become a licensed radiology technologist right out of high school. She had the gifts of compassion and serving, and helped many women overcome their fear of mammograms. Diane was most recently employed at Western Reserve Hospital as the manager of the Radiology Dept. for the past 11 years. She loved her family and extended church family, where she was a member of Bethel Church of Tallmadge. Diane had a beautiful voice and loved to sing praises to God. She and Joe helped lead worship at the Haven of Rest once a month, and volunteered in the hospitality ministry at church. Diane was a wonderful cook and loved to share her many delicious creations with family and friends. She had a genuine love and concern for others and showed it as a Christ follower in many ways. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. The family would like to send a special thank you to Leah, Rita, Roberta, Jill, Regina, Terry and Debbie; special friends, Jeannie, "my Judy", Dr. Sue Meyer and Dr. Eric Blum, Meg-RN and all the hospice team who cared for Diane. Pastor Phil Anderson will conduct funeral services Wednesday, 11 a.m. at Redmon Funeral Home, where friends may call Tuesday, from 5 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until service time.
