Jacquelyn (Jackie) L. Thiese
STOW -- Jacquelyn L. Thiese, 81, died May 13, 2015.
Born in Cincinnati, she was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and had volunteered at Akron Children''s Hospital, was a certified braillest and a life master in bridge with the ACBL.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, Louise and Leo Jackson; parents, Josephine and William Jancius; sister, Kay Jancius; son-in-law, Richard Cole; and brother-in-law, Kelly Schadle; she is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jim; daughter, Wendy Cole; son, Mark (Margaret); grandchildren, Chris (Linda), Alex and Tyler Cole, Annie, Brian and Paul Thiese; sister, Diane Schadle; and brother, Robert (Carol) Jancius.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Sunday, from 4 to 7 p.m. Pastors Deborah Wissner and Mark Sherwindt will conduct service Monday, 11 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, 833 Carroll St., Akron, OH 44305. Interment Chestnut Hill. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the Paul V. Beck Memorial Fund in care of Bethany Lutheran Church.
