David E. Reeves
David E. Reeves, 73, went home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2015.
He was born in Drakesboro, Kentucky on December 8, 1941 to the late Marvin and Gladys Reeves. David was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a friend to everyone who met him. In his free time, David was an avid bowler and a member of two leagues, including the Senior AllStar Traveling League.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Neal Reeves and grandson, Ian Hardison. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 54 years, Darlene; children, Denise (Dennis) Hardison, Darla (Dave) Griffith, and David (Cil) Reeves II; grandchildren, Aaron Hardison, Nathan Hardison, and Gabe Griffith; great-grandson, Austin Hardison; dad, Erwin Bohon; sister, Frieda (Pete) Mulhollen; brothers, Joe (Rosiey) Ellis and Tom (Rita) Bohon; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, May 8, 2015 from 4 to p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 a.m., with visitation for one hour prior at North Point Apostolic Church, 3544 Verner Rd., Kent, OH 44240. Interment at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the River of Life Church Building Fund, 3281 State St. NW, N. Canton, OH 44720.
