Obituary for Manuel T. McElwain
Manuel T. McElwain, age 84, passed away on April 20, 2015 in Cleveland.
He was the beloved husband of the late Clara M. (nee Lauver); loving father of Emanuel T., Jr. (wife Phyllis), Kathy Kritzer (husband Michael), Mary Jenkins, and Joseph C.; devoted grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather of 11; preceded in death by 11 brothers and 3 sisters.
Manuel was born Feb. 14, 1931 in Blair County, Pa. Manuel was a resident of Kirtland for over 20 years, previously living in Euclid.
He worked as a pipefitter at East Ohio Gas Company. Manuel loved hunting, bowling and was an Indians fan. Manuel will be remembered most as a kind, friendly, likeable and hardworking man.

Celebration of Life Service Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Road (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91). Burial following at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Manuel at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m.
