Olive Artz passed away on April 1, 2015.
Born and raised in Cuyahoga Falls, Ollie was a 1935 graduate of Cuyahoga Falls High School and a member of The United Presbyterian Church. She was an avid golfer and bowler and was inducted into the Summit County Sports Hall of Fame for her golf accomplishments.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold C. Artz; her son, Gary Artz; daughter-in-law, Becky Artz; and brother, Albert Hinkle of Maryland. She is survived by her sister, Mary Robinson; her granddaughter, Candace (Tony) Bloedorn; great-grandchildren, Luke and Parker Bloedorn of N. Carolina; along with a number of loved nieces and nephews.
At Ollie''s request, there will be no calling hours. Friends and relatives are invited to the graveside service on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Cuyahoga Falls.
