Obituary for Michael J Magliocca
NEW SPRINGFIELD – Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, April 3, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, for Michael James Magliocca, 59, who died Wednesday morning, April 1, 2015.
He was born Nov. 14, 1955, in Ellwood City, Pa., a son of the late Ralph and Mary (Bridge) Magliocca.
Michael was a 1973 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and had worked for K-Mart and Dart as a truck driver for 20 years, retiring in 1998. Michael was an avid fisherman, hunter, and he loved camping with his family.
He is survived by his wife, the former Sherry Deemer, whom he married on Dec. 15, 1984; his daughter, Jessica Marie Magliocca of Struthers; and his five siblings, Michele (Bob) Palmer of Orlando, Fla., Sandra Magliocca of Austintown, Ralph (Beth) Magliocca of Canfield, and Daniel Magliocca of Highlands, N.C. Michael is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to his parents, Ralph and Mary Magliocca, Michael was preceded in death by his stepmother, Nancy (Thomas) Magliocca; and his sister, Diane Magliocca.
Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon on Friday, April 3, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, where the funeral service will be held at noon.
