MUNROE FALLS -- Wayne E. Pyle, 80, died February 27, 2015.
Born in Somerset, Pa., he served his country in the Navy and was a graduate of Stow High School and The University of Akron. Wayne retired as Vice President of Gallatin Fuels, Inc. in 2002 and was very active in community mental health boards.
Preceded in death by his son, Jeff in 2013, he is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy; daughter, Lisa Sawan; grandchildren, Sam and Jenna Sawan; brother, Dean (Donna) Pyle; sister, Donna (Joe) Morgan; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to the Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Thursday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., where Pastor Jim Case will conduct service Thursday at 1 p.m. Interment at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to City of Munroe Falls Fire Department, 43 Munroe Falls Ave., Munroe Falls, OH 44262. The family extends a special thanks to the Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service.
