Obituary for James J. Piet
James J. Piet, 61, of Mentor, passed away Feb. 20, 2015. He was born in Cleveland on March 17, 1953, to Vince and Elsie Piet. He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, and son, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.James was a CPA in the automotive industry. He enjoyed reading and working out in his free time. James will be remembered as a kind-hearted, gentle and strong man. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family. James is survived by his wife, Kathleen; his children, Jeneane, Amanda (Vince), Ben (Jennifer) and Katie (Jim); his mother Elsie; his grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph, Anna, Sage and Brooke; his brother, Ken, his in-law''s, Martin and Irene; his sister-in-law, Barbara (Donald); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death, by his father Vince Piet. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at 10 a.m. at the Monreal Funeral Home, Eastlake. Visitation will be on Monday, Feb. 23, 2015, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Monreal Funeral Home.
