Obituary for Mary Lou Mimna

COLUMBIANA – Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel, for Mary Lou Mimna, 88, formerly of McDonald, who passed away Wednesday morning in Parkside Health Care Center.

Mary was born Aug. 4, 1927, in Addison, Pa., the daughter of the late Ira and Bessie (Jeffreys) Williams.

She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Mary was a member of the Liberty Assembly of God, and was an active member of the POW Auxiliary. She also enjoyed sewing.

Her husband, the late Charles H. Mimna, whom she married in 1947, passed away in October of 1994.

Mary leaves two sons, Charles Ronald Mimna and his wife, Karen, of Martinsville, Ind. and Jerry Lee Mimna and his wife, Cheryl, of Lisbon; one sister, Edna Mae Ford of Virginia; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel, where services will be held at 2 p.m.

Mary will be laid to rest at Green Haven Memorial Gardens.
