Obituary for William L Schulz

William L. "Bill" Schulz, 82, passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Arden Courts of Chagrin Falls. Bill was born February 18, 1932, in Cleveland, and was a lifelong resident of Mayfield Village. He was a U.S. Army veteran and had been employed as an Industrial engineer for over 30 years, retiring in 1999. He had previously been employed as a service manager for 19 years at the Deacon Chrysler Plymouth Dealership in Mayfield Village. Bill was an F.O.P.A. Member and a member of the Historical Society of Mayfield Village, the P.T. Cruisers Club and the Geauga West Snowmobile Club. Survivors are his fianceé, Pat Savitski; children, Carol (Larry) Lillis of Madison, Linda (Frank) Dottore of Indiana, Wendi (Doug) Leppelmeier of Mentor, Bill (Terri) Schulz of Lyndhurst and Steve (Julie) Schulz of Montville; grandchildren, Matt, Mitch, Mike, Chris, Peter and Grady; and three great-grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy (nee Barstow). Rev. Liz Nau of Mayfield Church will officiate services Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Schulte & Mahon-Murphy Funeral Home, where friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m.
