Obituary for Jane L. Weisgarber

Jane L. Weisgarber

age 77, of Jackson Twp., passed away Feb. 13, 2015 at the Inn at University Village. Janey was born Feb. 19, 1937 in Massillon to the late Delbert and Jenneth (Normile) Howells. She was a 1955 graduate of Washington High School and the Aultman School of Nursing. As an RN she was employed by Aultman Hospital for more than 35 years and then worked with Dr. Talug. A member of St. Mary''s Catholic Church, the Massillon Women''s Club and the retired Aultman Nurses Association. Janey had a special ‘smile'' and a willingness to help. She volunteered at Rose Lane Nursing Home and never stopped caring for others. She and Bob traveled Europe and the United States extensively, travel was a passion and she enjoyed visiting her friends. Janey is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robert L. Weisgarber; three children and their spouses, Laura Weisgarber, Patrick and Kathy Weisgarber and Eric and Sarah Weisgarber. Janey has five grandchildren, Mason, Morgan, Mitchell, Jack and Beau. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Mary''s Catholic Church, Fr. Edward Gretchko will officiate. Burial will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at the Paquelet Funeral Home.
