Merwin ''Murray'' Revoldt

 Age 90, of Jackson Twp., passed away peacefully in his residence, surrounded by his family on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015. He was born in Detroit, Mich., April 16, 1924. Murray served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII, earning a purple heart and a bronze star. On return from the service, he graduated from Michigan State University, with a bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering. Murray retired in 1989, from Goodyear Aerospace-Loral Corp. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Marilyn Revoldt; children, Daryl (Christy), Paul (Nichole), both of North Canton, and Lauren (Roger) Fertelmes, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; step-children, Elizabeth (Paul) Stoner, Paul (Mindy) Welsh, Diane (Bud) Robinson, and Claudia (Dave) Knepshield, all of the Canton area; six step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and his beloved cat, Daisy. Per his request, there will be no calling hours and a private burial will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
