Obituary for Josephine Cea

Josephine (Vassalotti) Cea passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015, to be reunited with her loved ones in God''''''''s embrace.
 She was born April 8, 1922, in Akron, Ohio and was a long time resident of Cuyahoga Falls.

Josephine will be remembered for her kind, loving, giving, humble way and her strong religious faith. These qualities were lived and practiced everyday. She was a member of St. Anthony Church for many years.  Her family was always number one in her thoughts, actions, and prayers.  Sunday family dinner and later breakfasts after Sunday mass were a tradition in her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Domenic; granddaughter, Erin Dillon; brother, Louis Vassalotti, and sister, Rosy Brancato. 

She is survived by daughters, Marie (John) Bellis, Carol (Don) Dillon; son, Don (Mary) Cea; grandchildren, John (Michele) Bellis, Chris (Danielle) Bellis, Brian (Rachel) Dillon, Donald Cea, Todd (Candy) Cea;  great-grandchildren, Kylee Bellis, Daniel Bellis, Vanessa Cea, Lauren Cea, and Ashley Cea; sister, Mary Verderico; sister-in-law, Ange Vassalotti; and many nieces and nephews. 

A special thanks to the staff at Stow-Glen and Visiting Nurse Hospice at Ridgewood for their kindness and excellent care.

Calling hours will be Monday, January 26, from 5 to 7pm at Ciriello & Carr Funeral Home, 39 S. Miller Rd, Fairlawn, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, January 27, 10:00am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 83 Mosser Place, Akron. Internment at Mount Peace Cemetery.
