Obituary for Rose Miller

NILES - Rose Miller, 61, passed away Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at Hospice House in Poland.

Rose was born April 27, 1953, in Youngstown, to parents Willis and Maxine (Beason) Miller Sr.

Rose worked for St. Elizabeth Health Center for the past 20 years as a case manager assistant. She was an active member of the New Hope United Methodist Church in Niles.

Rose was a member of the NAUS club, Army Navy, Amvets, and the Eagles. She collected angels and bells. However, her main passion and interest was her family. Time with them was precious in every way.

Rose is survived by her father, Willis Miller Sr. of Mineral Ridge; daughters Anna (Rueben) Chamberlain of Niles, and Joann Flowers of West Virginia; brother Clair (Denise) Miller of Niles; sister Dorothy (Randy) Alfrey of Niles; grandsons Tanner and Camden of Niles; stepsons Robert (Cathy) Flowers of West Virginia, Roger Flowers Jr. of Niles, and Eric (Patty) Pauley of West Virginia; 10 stepgrandchildren; 14 stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by her mother; and brothers Willis Miller Jr., and Nelson Miller.

Visitation will be held today, Jan. 18, 2015, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Mineral Ridge Chapel, from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 19, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Green Haven Memorial Gardens in Canfield.
