Obituary for Gregory A II Martin
Gregory A. Martin II, age 45, of Willoughby for the past 12 years, formerly of Mentor, passed away Jan. 13, 2015 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby. Mr. Martin was born Feb. 28, 1969 in Cherry Point, N.C. Greg had worked, for the past 10 years, as a machine operator for Avery Dennison''s Mentor plant, prior to that he had worked for Lubrizol in Wickliffe and Painesville. He was a graduate of Mentor High School class of 1988 and a graduate of Lakeland Community Colleges Police Academy in 1992. Greg bowled in the Thursday night men''s league at Scores. Survivors include his parents, Gregory A. and Beverly Martin of Willoughby; brother Bryan (Heather) Martin of Stephens City, Va.; grandfather Don Martin of Mentor; his dogs Sammy and Curly Joe and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jean Martin and Lee and Gladys Skidmore. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Mentor, OH 44060. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland.
