Obituary for Lois Bader

Lois Jean Bader

passed away Tuesday at Aultman Hospital. Born in Massillon August 31, 1928, she was a daughter to C. Robert and Lida (Schafer) Bammerlin. Lois was a 1946 graduate of Massillon Washington High School and married Arthur D. Bader Sept. 7, 1947. She worked at the Massillon Woman''s Club as an Evening Hostess and enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing bridge, puzzles, and spending time with her family. She was a 50+ year member of Central Presbyterian Church as well as the Massillon Woman''s Club.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, C. Robert and Lida Bammerlin; her husband, Arthur; her brother, Dr. Charles R. Bammerlin; and son-in-law, Carlton D. Oberlin. Surviving are her two daughters, Daryl (Richard) Chaney and Judith Oberlin; her son, Gary W. (Lisa) Bader; four grandchildren, Melanie Chaney, Neil Chaney, Kristen Bader, and Kaitlyn Bader; and two great-grandchildren, Lindsay Chaney and Tyler Chaney.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be conducted Sunday 3 p.m. at Atkinson Feucht Hare Funeral Home in Massillon with Rev. Larry Lalama officiating. Visitation will be Sunday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 2-3 p.m. The family wishes to have NO FLOWERS; memorial contributions are suggested to Central Presbyterian Church or the Massillon Woman''s Club. Private burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
