Obituary for May (Mary) Fisher Cox

Mary Fisher “May” Cox, age 88, wife of the late Alfred Cox and resident of Ansonia, passed away Dec. 29. She was born Sept. 16, 1926 in Ansonia, daughter of the late Thomas & Agnes McEwen Fisher. She graduated from Ansonia High School, class of ’44 and worked for Seymour Trust. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Ansonia. She leaves two sons, Thomas Cox & wife Sherry of Ansonia and David Cox & wife Tina of Branford, CT., sister Nancy Seccombe of Ansonia and 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Thomas & John Fisher and 3 sisters, Elizabeth Kells-Murphy, Ann McCarthy and Margaret Bresnahan. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia.
