Obituary for Florence A Van Dame

   Services for Florence A. (Westfall) Van Dame, 92, of Painesville, will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 5, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, Willoughby. Mrs. Van Dame passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014, at Country Club Retirement Campus in Ashtabula. Born May 27, 1922, in Uniontown, PA, she was a longtime Lake County resident before moving to Ashtabula one year ago. She was a member of Willoughby Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed baking and bowling well into her eighties. Survivors are her daughter, Pamela (Johnny) Damron of Elkhorn City, KY; son, Gregory Van Dame of Ashtabula; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Van Dame on May 19, 1997. Her parents, Clarence and Ida (Miller) Westfall, two brothers and two sisters are also deceased. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, at the funeral home. The Rev. C. Darrell Lynn will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
