Elizabeth Wiegandt (nee Pleli), 75, of Akron, Ohio died Monday, December 22, 2014.
Mrs. Wiegandt was born in Croatia on April 2, 1939 and immigrated to the United States in 1951. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church of Akron.
Her survivors include husband, Carl A. Wiegandt, Sr. of 54 years; daughter, Jeannette Kontak; son-in-law, Robert Kontak; son, Carl Wiegandt Jr.; and son-in-law, Wagner Sangalli; grandsons, Dennis Grinder Jr., and Jeffrey Kontak; Sister Ann Marie Graca; sister and son-in-law, Mary and John Major;, brother and sister-in-law, John and Donna Pleli; and sisters-in-law, Catherine Harness and Carlene Steuer; and 17 nieces and newphews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, located at 550 E. Wilbeth Road, Akron, Ohio 44301 at 11 a.m. Internment at Mount Peace Cemetery directly following service.
