Obituary for Gloria M Joerndt

BOARDMAN – Gloria Joerndt, 92, passed away at ValleyCare Northside Medical Center on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014.

She was born Aug. 15, 1922, in Girard, the daughter of the late Charles and Edna Parks.

She was a lifelong resident of the area and retired from Woodside Hospital in 1982.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Joerndt, in 2008; and a sister and brother-in-law, June and Edwin Masters.

She leaves her cousin and lifelong friend, Mary Layton of Niles; Mary’s daughter, Susan Greenfield and her family of Niles; sisters-in-law Vivian Cook of Struthers, Naomi Garver of Dublin, Ohio, and Louise Joerndt of Youngstown; and many nieces and nephews.

At Gloria’s request there will be no services.

Entombment will take place at the Green Haven Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
