Obituary for Robert Rice
Services for Robert C. Rice, Sr., 65, of Eastlake, will be at 11 A.M. on Monday, December 22, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, Willoughby. Mr. Rice passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014. Born May 21, 1949, in Willard, he had lived in Eastlake for 32 years. He enjoyed turkey shoots, building models, trains and was also a former racer (#57) at Painesville Speedway. Mr. Rice was a machinist by trade. Survivors are his wife of 45 years, Elma (Egleston); children, Sheila (John) Nagy of Mentor and Robert Rice, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; four sisters and two brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Rice and Helen Bonnette; a brother; two sisters; and a great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 21, at the funeral home. Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
