Obituary for Margaret Leaf
Margaret Leaf, age 94, of Eastlake, went home to the Lord peacefully December 15, 2014 surrounded by her children. She was born in Smoke Run, Pa., on July 31, 1920, to the late Emery and Mary Prementine. Margaret was one of the most compassionate nurses this world has ever known. She enjoyed gardening, one of her favorite flowers being the rose. In addition, Margaret''s favorite color was pink. She loved spending the holidays with her family, Christmas being her most favorite. To Margaret, family was the most important aspect of her life, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a proud and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed by all. Margaret is survived by her children, Emery (Amy) Delfosse, Betty (Robert) Henninger, and Tom (Doreen) Delfosse; her six grandchildren; and her 11 great-grandchildren; and her sister Frances Tomchek. She was preceded in death by her children, Sonny (Darlene) Delfosse and Ronald (Nancy) Delfosse; and her siblings Kathryn, Mary, Frank, Steve, George, Edward, Raymond, Barbara, and Pauline. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Monreal Funeral Home, Eastlake. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens. A special thank you goes out to all of her Health Care Angels especially Amy, Callen, Sarah, Karen, Ryan, Phelicia, Connie and Joseph. She loved you all.
