CUYAHOGA FALLS --Richard K. Burns, 82, passed away November 13, 2014. He was born in Barberton and resided in Tallmadge for the past 14 years.
Richard served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He went onto work as the owner-operator of Burns Bros Painters Inc. and was a member of the American Legion.
Preceded in death by his wife, Donna; He is survived by his children, Robert K. (Jennifer) of Ravenna, Edward T. (Terri) of Suffield and Tracy A. Burns of Streetsboro; grandchildren, Angie, Russell and Branden; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Robert E. Burns of Green; and sister, Carolyn N. Blabac of Akron.
Friends may call two hours prior to a 1 p.m. funeral service on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 in the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St., Cuyahoga Falls, OH, 44221. Rev. Paul Beal will be officiating. Interment Mount Peace Cemetery. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the , 1690 W. Market St., Akron, OH, 44313.
