Obituary for James E. Lindsey

James (Jimbo) Edward Lindsey Jr, a 78 year old Ansonia resident, passed away Nov. 10 surrounded by his family.  He was born April 22, 1936, son of the late James Jindsey Sr. and Mabel Gallman Howard. James worked as a foreman in the Casting Dept. for American Brass Co., and was a member of The Clinton A.M.E. Zion Church.  He was a graduate of Ansonia High School and an avid fan of both Ansonia High School''s football and basketball teams.  He followed The N.Y. Giants, Knicks & Mets.  He leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Rosalind & Jilol Lindsey (John) both of Ansonia, sister Barbara Howard of Derby, borhter Wilbert Howard (Linda) of New Haven and grandchildren, Toshea McNair & Perry Flowers Jr., both of Ansonia, sister-in-law Dorothy Lindsey and Aunt Mildred Singley.  He was predeceased by siblings William Harold Howard Jr., Marvin "Skeet" Lindsey, Barbara Bishop & Betty Harvellllll.   Funeral services wkill be held on Friday Nov. 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Clinton A.M.E.Zion Church in Ansonia.  Friends may call 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.  The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St., Ansonia, CT is entrusted with arrangements.  www.jenkinskingfh.com.
