Edward Charles Hurst, 49, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Woodrow and Verna Elizabeth Hurst (Simmons). He is survived by his brother, Robert Wayne Hurst; sisters, Margarette Ellen (Hurst), and Patricia Ann Deck (Hurst); children, Jeremiah Jaymes Hilliard, and Zara Elizabeth Hurst; nephew, Ronald Lee Tichon Jr. (Patricia); nieces, Heidi Elizabeth Tichon, Tiffany Ann Major (Sean); and many other family and friends.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Peace Cemetery, 183 Aqueduct St., Akron, OH 44303. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Stewart & Calhoun Funeral Home, 529 W. Thornton St., Akron, OH 44307.
