Obituary for Robert E. Jusko

Prayer services for Robert E. Jusko, 85, of Mentor, will be 10 a.m. Friday.  Mr. Jusko passed away Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at Heartland of Mentor. Born March 13, 1929, in Cleveland, he had lived in Cleveland before moving to Lake County 35 years ago, living in Mentor. Robert was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 888. In his leisure time, he was a handyman and part-time electrician and butcher. Mr. Jusko was a retired employee of Eaton Corporation, Axle Division where he worked for 35 years and had been a member of the Snorters Club, while employed at Eaton Corp. He also served as Chairman of the Board for the Dual Ratio Federal Credit Union. He was the loving father of Jean (Dean) Herris, Judy (David) Cosmo, Janis Sartain, Joan (David) Dotson, Jill Jusko and Jackie (Alan) Mastromatto; cherished grandfather of Bob, Christopher, Matt, Brian, Toni, Ann Marie, John, Michelle, Ashley, Rachel and Hannah; great-grandfather of Hailey, Mia and Oliver; and brother of Barbara Compton, John Jusko and Lenny Jusko. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Ann (nee Fischer) Jusko; parents, John and Mary (nee Trojan) Jusko; and sister, Mildred Murphy. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where a funeral service will also be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.>>
