Obituary for Joanne M. Howe
Mass of Christian Burial for Joanne M. (Urbanek) Howe, 82, of Willoughby, will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 29, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 37932 Euclid Avenue, Willoughby.
Mrs. Howe passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born June 24, 1932, in Cleveland, she had lived in Willoughby for the past 60 years.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Willoughby. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed baking and cooking for her family.
Survivors are her children, Dennis (Cathy) Howe of Mayfield Hts., Theresa (Pete) Dunaway of Spring Valley, CA, Charles (Mickey) Howe of Eastlake, Kenneth (Arlene) Howe of Perry, William Howe of Willoughby, and Sandra (Robert) Sapatka of Jefferson; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Gayle Howe of Perry.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 2005; and her son, Dale, in 2007.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 28, at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, Willoughby. The Rev. Fr. Christopher J. Weber will officiate at the Mass. Final resting place will be Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township, following the Mass.
