Lucille M. Hollinger, 91, went from her earthly home to her heavenly home on September 17, 2014 after a brief illness.
She was born on July 23, 1923 in Ben Hill, Georgia to Flora Slack Price and Roy Price.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hollinger Sr.; and her son, Michael.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories her daughter, Stephanie Hollinger; son, Rev. Robert (Lela) Hollinger; special niece, Dr. Flora Laverne Price; best friend, Betty Dalton; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Homegoing celebration will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at 12 p.m. at St John CME Church, 1233 S. Hawkins Ave., Akron, Ohio 44320. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 5 p.m. Family will receive friends from 11 until time of service on Tuesday. Rev. Vernon White officiating. The casket will remained closed during the services on Tuesday. Interment at Mt. Peace Cemetery. Procession will form and condolences may be sent to 2309 Eastwood Ave., Akron, Ohio 44305.
