Funeral service for Evelyn I. (Vernon) Blevins, age 75 of Mentor will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 12, 2014 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, Willoughby.
Mrs. Blevins passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at her home.
She was born September 10, 1938 in Uniontown, PA.
Mrs. Blevins was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, James; daughters, Barb Martin of Eastlake, Darlene (Anthony) Gareau of Independence, Diane (Marc) Goldfarb of Bay Village, and Julie Blevins of Willoughby; son, Darrell (Annie) Blevins of Willoughby; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; sisters, Charlotte Martin and Donna (Jr.) Greenway.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Carrie Vernon; brothers, Bob and Bill Vernon; great granddaughter, Elizabeth Mary Martin.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp.
